What’s different about working here
The soil: clay-rich ground holds water in winter and cracks in summer — base preparation and drainage matter more here than almost anywhere in Cape Town. We compact deeper and detail falls carefully; our post on driveway drainage shows why.
The trees: oak and plane roots lift rigid surfaces. We design around root zones with flexible small-format paving and generous planted buffers — fighting a hundred-year oak is a losing game.
